Our story

Lumières de London Bridge: A new FLAM (French as a Mother Tongue) school in Pimlico, South West London, originally located in and around Borough, London Bridge, Lumières de London Bridge is a FLAM school that opened in September 2023. It was created to provide French language support to bilingual students from French-speaking families in South London and the surrounding area.

Objectives and Methodology: Lumières de London Bridge's activities are based on the official French Ministry of Education curricula for nursery and primary school. They aim to develop students' language skills in key areas such as comprehension, speaking, spelling, and writing. The school emphasizes educational and cultural objectives, taught in a fun and engaging environment.

Lumières de London Bridge aims to cultivate an environment where every bilingual child thrives in French. We encourage an immersive, playful, and caring approach that fosters confidence, curiosity, and linguistic excellence.

Our team

The Lumières de London Bridge team comprises a steering committee dedicated to health, safety, and child protection standards, as well as a group of qualified French-speaking teachers committed to supporting students and ensuring their well-being and safety.
